EVENT DETAILS

Experience the Magic of Elton John’s Farewell Tour

Join the Rocket Man himself, Sir Elton John, for a sold-out show on what will be his final world tour, the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. Sing along and reminisce as the English singer, songwriter, and pianist croons your favorite classic hits like “Tiny Dancer,” “Candle in the Wind,” and “I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues.”

Born in Pinner, England, Elton John was introduced to music at an early age. He started playing piano at age 4 and won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music at age 11. After leaving the Academy in 1961, he decided to pursue a career in music and joined his first band, Bluesology. Among the many awards and honors bestowed upon him are six Grammys, including a Grammy Legend Award, a Tony Award, two Oscar Awards, induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Kennedy Center Honor, and a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II.

Classic albums like his self-titled Elton John and Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only the Piano Player are considered masterpieces to many a rock fan, but it was Goodbye Yellow Brick Road that catapulted John to his legendary status. Though John is an icon in the field of music, his worldly influence stretches beyond songwriting and performing. In 1992, he established the Elton John AIDS Foundation, with the express purpose of supporting HIV prevention, education, and care for those living with the disease.

This legendary performer is sure to put on an unforgettable show filled with powerhouse vocals, glittering costumes, and personal tales from his decades as a world-renowned entertainer.

The architecturally magnificent Petco Park is the home of the San Diego Padres and opened in downtown San Diego in 2004. It immediately became known as the world's best ballpark in America's Finest City, but it is so much more. Offering stunning views of the San Diego Bay and skyline and state-of-the-art amenities, Petco Park is the ultimate setting for an memorable event.

Your incredible getaway begins with check-in at Marriott Vacation Club Pulse®, San Diego, where special touches and super surprises begin the moment you arrive. A four-course welcome dinner will follow at a local favorite dining establishment, where you'll meet other Owners and get ready for the time of your life. The next day, look forward to a delicious breakfast buffet served on-site featuring chilaquiles from Cocina 35. Later, a pre-concert reception will be held where you’ll have time to connect with fellow Owners, as you enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. Finally, you’ll see Elton John’s Farewell concert at Petco Park. You’ll be seated in covered section 217, so you won’t miss a thing and you’ll be protected from the elements.

Please see the event itinerary for a day-by-day schedule of this incredible engagement. Space is limited, so secure your spot now.
