For 117 years the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade has been lighting up Southern California. It’s grown to include over 200 entrants into the parade, from luxury yachts and ships to charming sailboats and dinghies — all decked out in holiday lights and decor and competing to outshine one another.
Now’s your chance to join in on all the festivities that have made this event one of the nation’s premier holiday happenings. Your red-and-green excursion begins with check-in and a champagne toast at Marriott’s Newport Coast® Villas, your vacation haven overlooking the ocean. Then you’ll join fellow Owners for a delicious dinner at Foretti’s. Taste the culinary traditions of Italy with house-made pastas expertly paired with craft cocktails and a curated selection of wines.
On the morning and afternoon of Day 2, you’ll have a chance to explore the resort and area on your own. Later, instead of watching the Christmas boat parade from the crowded shore, head to Newport Landing at Newport Harbor to depart on a 2-hour private charter aboard the Catallac. Sail around the sparkling harbor on this 50-foot luxury catamaran to take in the best views of the decorated boats of the parade, bayfront estates, and fireworks. Move about the vessel to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, indoor or outdoor spaces, a climate-controlled cabin, and different vantage points.

Each package includes spacious accommodations in a 2-bedroom villa at Marriott’s Newport Coast® Villas. Please note: Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend the events described below.

Eligibility: Participants must: (1) own a Beneficial Interest in the MVC Trust; or (2) own a week that is enrolled in the Abound by Marriott Vacations exchange program; or (3) own a Vacation Ownership Interest that is enrolled in the Vistana Signature Network® exchange program.

Cancellation Policy
Prior to arrival:
- Cancellation within 24 hours of booking:
Owners may cancel their Exclusive Owner Event reservation up to 24 hours after booking and receive their ownership points back without penalty. This 24-hour period is applicable to reservations made both outside and inside of 60-days-prior-to-arrival time frame.
- Cancellation up to 61 days prior to arrival:
Owners may cancel their Exclusive Owner Event reservation up to 61 days prior to arrival and their ownership points will be restored.
- Cancellation 60 days prior to arrival or less:
If an Owner cancels their Exclusive Owner Event reservation 60 days prior to arrival or less, their ownership points will be forfeited.
Upon purchase:
- Residents of Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Texas may cancel within 15 business days of package purchase date and their ownership points will be restored. Cancellations must be made in writing within 15 business days of package purchase date. Cancellation notices must be sent to Owner Events Team, 7812 Palm Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32836.
The total retail value of this package is $3,334. Retail value of accommodations is $2,509. The total retail value of incentives is $825. Retail value is based on current average room rates at the time of print, which are subject to change without notice. Actual retail value will be based upon the rack rates during the period of occupancy. Premiums, if applicable, are not redeemable for cash and may be subject to change and/or unavailable. Substitutions, if available, will be at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Accommodations may be subject to change or unavailable. Alternate accommodations may be used if necessary.
