EVENT DETAILS

An Irish Tribute That Really Pops

Experience the rich musical heritage of Ireland with the Boston Pops Orchestra. Celtic Night is a stirring tribute to the late Brian O’Donovan—beloved GBH host and cultural ambassador. The evening features Brian’s daughter Aoife, a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter performing alongside the renowned Celtic ensemble Solas, including founding member Seamus Egan. This concert promises a vibrant fusion of Celtic storytelling tradition and modern symphonic innovation, celebrating the spirit of Irish music and the enduring impact of one of its greatest champions.

You’ll also have an informative behind-the-scenes look at famous Symphony Hall. Follow your knowledgeable guide to see the venue’s sequencer organ, learn the history of the building, and understand the science used to make it one of the most acoustically perfect halls in the world.

Your Irish getaway begins with check-in at Marriott Vacation Club® at Custom House, Boston, followed by an exclusive welcome reception. Then, dine with fellow Owners at Chart House, a historic seafood restaurant set on Long Wharf pier. The venue is Long Wharf’s oldest surviving structure, formerly the John Hancock Counting House.

On Day 2, you’ll have time to explore the city on your own. Will you visit the site of the Boston Tea Party? Or how about lacing up your shoes and walking the Freedom Trail? Come the evening, head to Symphony Hall in the Back Bay neighborhood for a guided behind-the-scenes tour, followed by the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Celtic Night: A Tribute to Brian O’Donovan and A Celtic Sojourn. You’ll witness the special collaboration from excellent center orchestra seats.

A heartfelt tribute and access to Symphony Hall is the type of experience that doesn’t get an encore. Secure your spot today.
