This long-standing annual tradition not only celebrates delectable oysters, but also pays homage to the deep-rooted oyster shucking traditions passed down through the generations in this area. Whether you’re a seasoned slurper, first-time taste-tester, or lover of other Lowcountry culinary delights, this event showcases a variety of options for everyone’s preference.
Your bivalve bonanza begins with check-in at The Lindy Renaissance® Charleston Hotel, followed by a wine blending session at the Grand Bohemian Wine Bar. Get in touch with your inner sommelier as you sample different wine varietals and then create your own custom blend. Enjoy its pairing with a gourmet charcuterie presentation or bottle it to take it with you.
On Day 2, you’ll head to Boone Hall Plantation for the 42nd edition of the Lowcountry Oyster Festival. Explore the grounds to feast on fresh specialties, sip refreshing beer and wine, jam to live entertainment, and browse local artisan pop-up shops. You’ll find an array of oysters sourced from local waters and featured in different preparations. Your tickets include access to the VIP tent where you’ll find all-you-can-eat oysters, an open bar, and shaded seating as a more exclusive way to experience the festival.

Day 1

Check in at The Lindy Renaissance Charleston Hotel at 4 p.m. - Wine Tasting and Blending at the Grand Bohemian Wine Bar
Taste different wine varietals and then create your own custom blend under the guidance of a sommelier, complete with a personalized label. Enjoy charcuterie selections that complement the wines.
Day 2
- 42nd Annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival
Head to Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, for this long-standing tradition. Move about the festival grounds to experience live music, local artisan pop-up shops, and more. Your tickets include access to the VIP tent where you’ll find all-you-can-eat oysters in a variety of preparations, an open bar with wine and beer selections, and shaded seating for a more relaxed way to enjoy the event. Round-trip transportation will be provided.
Day 3
- Your 90-Minute Personal Sales Presentation of the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations® Program

Cancellation Policy
Prior to arrival:
- Cancellation within 24 hours of booking:
Owners may cancel their Exclusive Owner Event reservation up to 24 hours after booking and receive their ownership points back without penalty. This 24-hour period is applicable to reservations made both outside and inside of 60-days-prior-to-arrival time frame.
- Cancellation up to 61 days prior to arrival:
Owners may cancel their Exclusive Owner Event reservation up to 61 days prior to arrival and their ownership points will be restored.
- Cancellation 60 days prior to arrival or less:
If an Owner cancels their Exclusive Owner Event reservation 60 days prior to arrival or less, their ownership points will be forfeited.
Upon purchase:
- Residents of Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Texas may cancel within 15 business days of package purchase date and their ownership points will be restored. Cancellations must be made in writing within 15 business days of package purchase date. Cancellation notices must be sent to Owner Events Team, 7812 Palm Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32836.
The total retail value of this package is $2,336. Retail value of accommodations is $1,260. The total retail value of incentives is $1,076. Retail value is based on current average room rates at the time of print, which are subject to change without notice. Actual retail value will be based upon the rack rates during the period of occupancy. Premiums, if applicable, are not redeemable for cash and may be subject to change and/or unavailable.
